This phrasal verbs are very important in daily life . When you want to speak with
someone informally , you should not use formal terms .You have to talk with him
with easy and short phrases ...So, i brought these phrasal verbs to you because
we need to know it ....i will bring every other day or from time to time New Group
to make it easy and to be clear for our friends
and to help them in their life .

1- Figure out ….find the solution to a problem. E.g. I figured out the answer.

2- Hand in …….give homework , papers ,etc. to teacher. E.g. We handed in our homework.

3- Hand out ………give something to this person, then to that person , then to another person,etc. E.g. the teacher handed out the test papes.

4- look up…….look for information in a dictionary , a telephone directory , an encyclopedia , etc. E.g. I looked a word up in the dictionary.

5- Make up……...invent (a story) E.g. Children like to make up stories.

6- pick up…….lift E.g. Tom picked up the baby.

7- put down……stop holding or carrying. E.g. I put down the heavy packages.

8- put off……postpone E.g. We put off our trip until next summer.

9- put on……place clothes on one's body. E.g. I put on my coat before I left.

10- take off……remove clothes from one's body. E.g. I took off my coat when I arrived.
11- throw away}ــــــــــ> put in the trash,discard. E.g. I threw away my old notebooks.
12- throw out }ـــــــــــــ> put in the trash,discard. E.g. I threw out my old notebooks.

13- turn off…….stop a machine or a light. E.g. I turned off the lights and went to bed.
14- turn on…..start a machine or a light. E.g. I turned on the light so I could read.

15- wake up……stop sleeping. E.g.My wife woke me up at six.

16- write down……write a note on a piece of paper. E.g. I wrote his phone number down.
