yes sis when you say that in a formal language, they consider it wrong it is me look at this clause it = dummy subject is = linking verb me = must be the delayed subject of the clause, but the subject cannot be in the objective case same thing when you say here is me you better say : here is I there are them you better say: there are they note about the dummy subject the clauses that have a linking verb should make a connection between the subject and the subjective complement like Ali is a teaccher Ali = teacher Rana is beautiful Rana = beautiful but in the clause it is me is me = it of course not so the pronoun "it" is just to fill up the subjective position, but, actually, "it" is not the real subject; it just makes the subject delayed that's all |
